Lover Girl
This video is a personal exploration of how my journey as a visual storyteller started. Through photos from my youth, my journal, and the movies I grew up watching. I tell the story of the influences and key moments that sparked my passion for creating. From impossible loves to the evolution of my style, this project reflects how I got here as an artist.
This work was done as part of the assignment for Story Visualized: Text and Image Lab in the MFA Visual Narrative program at The School of Visual Arts.
Before, During & After
Visual storytelling without text.
This project is a true story told solely through images, without text or sound. Through a compilation of videos captured before moving to NYC, during my adaptation process, and after finding a community, I reflect on the contrast between life in the Dominican Republic and New York. I explore how life in my native country is more leisurely and connected to nature, while in NYC, everything is faster and less colorful. However, as time passes and the community grows, the city begins to feel more like home.

Trying To Date
Word Play – Visual storytelling with words.
This project explores visual storytelling using only words and text. Based on my experience with dating apps, along with screenshots of profiles, messages with friends who have experienced similar situations, and fragments of conversations, I construct a story that functions as a reflection on society and how overwhelming it can be to find a romantic connection.
