This project proved that strong visuals can be achieved with limited resources, minimal sets, and very little pre-production time.
The video was produced in under three days due to the imminent release of Chimbala’s song. With tight artist availability, we prioritized shooting all of his scenes first and then adapted the rest of the production around that constraint.
One of the main challenges emerged on set, when we realized additional footage was needed for the edit. Working closely with the DP, we improvised new shots with the models, securing the necessary material without compromising visual quality.
This experience reinforced the importance of creative problem-solving and confident on the spot decision-making when working under pressure.
