Thoughts Before Sleeping, Installation / Interactive Art, Nov. 23, Projector, Dimensions Variable.

When I was looking for inspiration for the portfolio on Pinterest, I had an idea that I wanted to create a project with a projector, but I didn't have the exact idea; then I saw the installation "in order to control" by nota bene visual, how, in such a simple way, they were able to communicate their message, and it inspired me to make this piece.
I came up with the idea of documenting all my thoughts before I go to sleep and that would be what I projected. I chose my bedroom for this because it is an intimate and personal space where I cry, laugh, work on my projects, study, and come up with many ideas. It is the only place in my house where I have a safe space to express myself without restrictions.
As I started to write night after night my thoughts in my cell phone notes, I realized that I had a very negative dialogue with myself, and I made myself feel very bad and it affected my sleep and overall well-being. But the funny thing about all this is that until I wrote down my thoughts and saw them projected on my wall, I didn't know it was that serious because it affected my self-esteem. It was as if the distractions of everyday life kept me busy, and only at the quietude of the night when I was at peace would those thoughts emerge.
This project is quite personal. It helped me as a self-analysis. Through introspection and visualization of my thoughts, I learned that I must have a better dialogue with myself, and starting from there, step by step, things can improve little by little.
